Meet Dr. Lisa Kim

Dr. Lisa Kim is a highly skilled dentist with extensive expertise in gum health and preventive care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Colorado at Boulder and went on to complete her dental education at the Loma Linda School of Dentistry. Early in her career, Dr. Kim practiced at several dental offices and devoted time to volunteering in underserved communities, traveling to Korea, Mexico, and South Africa to provide much-needed dental care and education.

Since joining our dental group in 2006, Dr. Kim has become known for her gentle approach and her focus on advanced gum treatments. Her expertise includes both surgical and non-surgical gum therapies, with a specialization in laser gum treatment and ozone therapy. Dr. Kim is recognized for her skill in applying ozone in dentistry, which is an innovative, non-invasive method to enhance gum health and support healing. She is also certified in using the Diagnodent, a state-of-the-art laser cavity detector that allows her to identify hidden cavities with precision and without exposure to traditional X-ray radiation.

Over the years, Dr. Kim has collaborated closely with numerous periodontists, further expanding her expertise and commitment to providing exceptional dental care.
